Today is my mom's birthday. The big 3-0! LOL! We were going to try to do dinner, or I was going to go to my mom's for the night. Neither of those plans worked out because my stepdad has the flu! Not fun! Momma is going to have to wait to get her gifts now. My mom really is my best friend. I tell her everything....well, maybe not EVERYTHING, but most everything. We have a set phone call routine. Every morning, I call her after I drop off the kids at school, and then I talk to her until it is time to go into work. Usually, it is a good 30-40 min long call. After work, I call her as soon as I get into the car, and then I talk to her until I get home. It is a good thing that we both have ATT because that free mobile to mobile comes in handy! I can always count on her to listen to all of my crazy work stories. I can always count on her to give me advice...which I don't always follow!! I can count on her always. Period. I really am my mother's daughter. It is kind of creepy sometimes. I truly would be at a loss without my mom. I love her so much!
