Random Plugs

Really random post. I have been meaning to blog about a few things that I love and some recent good deals that I have found, so here goes.

- Neutrogena Advanced Solution
I was never blessed with flawless skin, and I used to spend close to $50 for each Proactiv set. I liked Proactiv, but it made my skin really dry. Plus, it was so freaking expensive. I have been using this Neutrogena stuff for months now, and I really like it. It is a 3 piece set - cleanser, acne lotion, and SPF lotion. The best part is that it is only about $19 at Walmart, CVS, etc, and each box has a $4 coupon for the next time you buy it. I am a fan!

- Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner
This eyeliner really does last all day. They have all sorts of colors - black, brown, plum, teal, navy, smoke, etc. The regular old black works the best for all day wear. I have a lot of expensive eyeliners from Make Up Forever & Urban Decay that I really like, but the Revlon is the best for a long day. Plus, CVS & Walgreens always have sales on Revlon (and other brands), like buy one get one free.

- WebEyeCare.com
I HATE paying for my contacts. They are obviously pretty essential for my everyday life, but they are a pain to purchase. I went to the eye doctor recently for my annual eye exam. My contacts cost $45/box if I ordered them from the eye doctor. Considering I need 8 boxes to last me a year, that is $360!!! I did some research online, and I decided to order from webeyecare.com. The 8 boxes (plus free shipping) only cost me $213, and I received them in less than a week.

- Aussie 3 Minute Miracle
I have been a fan of this hair conditioner for a long time now. It makes my super thick hair feel great, and I LOVE the smell!

- Powerade Zero - STRAWBERRY
Zero calories, and it actually tastes really, really, really good.

-Netflix
I go through spurts of using my Netflix. Some weeks I watch a bunch of movies; other times I keep a movie for months until I decide to watch it. Regardless, the website is user friendly, shipping is super fast, and it is relatively inexpensive. It is really good if you want to watch a series too. Oh, and I really like that you can watch certain movies instantly.

- Retailmenot.com
I use this website when I do any online purchasing, from pizza to clothes. They always have great promo codes which can get you discounts. A couple of weeks ago, I was able to score some great full size samples from Sephora when I ordered some make up. Speaking of Sephora...

- Few Splurges
shu uemura eyelash curler ($19). Not the cheapest eyelash curler, but it never pulls on my lashes and lashes stay curled all day.

Nars blush ($25). I have a few Nars blushes, and I love all of them. Really good pigment, and they last FOREVER.

My eyeliner like alwaysss comes off during the day. I will def try that revlon one. Oh, the NARS bronzer (Laguna) is AMAZING. It's basically like a concealer and a bronzer because it covers so well. I just wish nars stuff wasn't so dang expensive! I will have to order my contacts from that website. Contact prices are seriously the BIGGEST joke.

Walgreens has deals on contacts. If you sign up for email updates, they'll send you their latest deals.
